Cooking instructions for Scallops
This is a guideline to cooking Scallops. Please feel free to use your favorite seasoning or recipe.
1. Preheat skillet over medium heat and add your scallops.
2. Do not turn the scallops for 1-2 minutes. Once the first side is seared, turn and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
3. Once you see the center of the scallops turn from the slightly off-white color to all white, scallops are finished and can be removed from pan.
Note: You can use a small amount of clarified butter to sear the scallops if you prefer. Keep in mind the small bay scallops will cook much faster than the larger sea scallops.
